Yunosato Onsen Spa - Hashimoto, Japan 2016

Thematic Glass Art Installation produced by Jackie & Partners

Yunosato is a Onsen Spa in Hashimoto, Wakayama, that utilises water extracted 1000 meters from the earth's surface. They have three wells, each extracting water with different properties called gold water, silver water, and bronze water. The soothing properties of these waters help promote overall wellness.
On the first floor of the Yunosato Inn is Italian restaurant La Fonte. The main wall of La Fonte was redesigned by glass Artist Noriaki Etoh of Tecno Form not only for aesthetic purposes but also to educate the customers of Yunosato about the water. Paired with the Aquaphotomics research done by Dr. Prof. Roumiana Tsenkova, the main artwork symbolises water, light and time. The remaining squares have been etched with informative sentences about the water at Yunosato.
The installation is breathtaking and Jackie & Partners is grateful to have participated in this project to not only bring beauty to a wonderful space but also to help our collective understanding of water; our life force.
