amargo is a show where the music is the connecting thread between scenes and themes. Rafael offers the audience his avant-garde view of flamenco while still respecting the tradition and history of this Spanish art.
In his first appearance in Japan in 2004, Rafael brought amargo and preformed 12 shows from September to October in 8 different cities. The cities were: Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Kumamoto, Sendai, Sapporo, Okinawa, and Matsudo.
