Considerado una de las voces relevantes dentro del discurso pictórico brasileño en su diáspora, Renato Costa despliega una obra en la que activa el carácter narrativo de la pintura y la posibilidad de gestionar -desde el mismo centro de esta- el tan deseado “desvío retórico “Hijo del pintor Manoel Raimundo Pereira da Costa (1943 – conocido artísticamente como Manoel Costa) y de Luzia Rodrigues Costa (1949).
Inspiración:
El título en Latín “OCHRA CASTRUM” (Castillo de Ocre) narra la necesidad de defender y preservar a nuestro tesoro más importante, la tierra. El título también quiere dejar claro, la existencia de recursos suficientes para cada hombre pero debido a la codicia, la problemática del Hambre, sigue vigente en los días actuales.

祖国を離れていてもブラジルの絵画表現における際立った存在の一人とされるヘナト・コスタは、絵が語りかけてくるような作品、そして誰もがものにしたいと切望する「レトリックの逸脱」を絵の中心部から操るかのような作品を展開しています。両親は、画家のマノエル・ハイムンド・ペレイラ・ダ・コスタ（1943年、芸術名マノエル・コスタとして知られる）とルジア・ホドリゲス・コスタ（1949年）。
インスピレーション
ラテン語のタイトル「OCHRA CASTRUM（オークル城）」は、かけがえのない私たちの宝もの、大地を守り保護する必要性を物語っています。また、ひとりひとりには十分な資源があるにも関わらず、欲深さのせいで、現在も飢餓の問題が解消されていないことを、このタイトルが明示しています。

Considered one of the relevant voices within the Brazilian pictorial discourse in its diaspora, Renato Costa displays a work in which he activates the narrative nature of painting and the possibility of managing -from the very center of it- the much desired “rhetorical deviation” Son of the painter Manoel Raimundo Pereira da Costa (1943 – artistically known as Manoel Costa) and Luzia Rodrigues Costa (1949).
Inspiration:
The Latin title “OCHRA CASTRUM” (Castle of Ocher) narrates the need to defend and preserve our most important treasure, the earth. The title also wants to make clear, the existence of sufficient resources for each man but due to greed, the problem of Hunger, is still valid today.
