This year marks the 5th Anniversary of the InterContinental Osaka. One of the main events of their Anniversary Celebrations, the hotel is holding an exhibition of Washi in Architecture by renowned Washi Artist, Eriko Horiki entitled Washi Wonderment. Exhibition coordination by Jackie & Partners.

Eriko Horiki is an internationally recognized washi(traditional Japanese paper) artist and designer. Her philosophy is to create, “Living Washi for Architectural Spaces.” With this theme, she has produced and exhibited pieces for stations, hotels, retail store interiors, event spaces, set design, and other public and private facilities both domestically and abroad. Through her lifelong journey with washi she has published several books on the subject in addition to receiving various awards for her work starting with an award from the Japan Association of Artists Craftsmen and Architects in 2001.
