Her love for Japanese design and fabrics made her create her own line of textile pieces with modern utility. She pays particular attention to colour combinations and traditional Japanese motifs to give her creations both a contemporary yet traditional Japanese feel.Noriko's collection called Noriko Kyoto, after her hometown. The collection contains table runners, small pouches, and a variety of bags with colourful Japanese prints and embroidery. Her collection was put on display at the Hipòtesi shop-gallery in the Rambla in Barcelona. The store is well known in Barcelona for displaying and selling diverse and innovative designs of jewelry, textiles, and accessories by numerous artists.
